Bus Service
CSA Greensboro – Transportation Portal
This portal is only for students who have been ACCEPTED at Clara Science Academy School for the 2023-24 school year and wish to use the service on a regular basis. CSA partners with the Bus Service to provide convenient cluster meeting points. We do not provide door-to-door service. Cluster meeting points are preferable because they minimize the time students spend on the bus and the pick-up and drop-off times are consistent each day. Such reliability is never guaranteed with door-to-door service. Students are to use the cluster stop chosen by their parents. Bus drivers are not to allow students to use any bus stop they please. Consistency by the students in the bus stops they use will help the driver to keep track of the students. Students may use one stop in the morning and a different stop in the afternoon, provided they are consistent and don’t change.

If USDA is not offered, lunch will be available at a cost of $5.00 per day or parents must package lunch for their child.
Clara Science Academy is seeking Caterers to provide breakfast and lunch meals for the 2024-2025 school year. We are currently soliciting competitive proposals and wish to invite your company to submit a Request For Proposal. The RFP Contract must be in line with the USDA requirements.

Your child will be given the opportunity to dive even deeper into their interests by designing their own program ideas! He or she can explore a theme or topic that inspires them by starting a project, founding a classroom club, or taking on additional responsibilities in the program as a junior counselor.

Life is full of choices, and allowing your child to choose the activities he or she loves most keeps him or her excited to learn. Children have time every day to explore their own interests in areas like Creative Arts, the Library, Math and Construction, Puzzles and Games, and Science.
Creative Arts: An area where children can express themselves through drama, drawing, painting, poetry, and more.
Library: A bookworm’s paradise where children can find inspiration and endless adventure.
Math and Construction: A place where children can solve math problems and puzzles, or build bridges, towers, machines, and more using real-life math concepts.
Puzzles and Games: An activity area that features group games, challenging brainteasers, and puzzles.
Science: An area where children can experiment, explore, and discover the secrets of the scientific world.
